Wow! June's lesson is only 90 days late—practically right on time in some places. In May's lesson, we looked at the idea of motivic development in solos. The particular example in that lesson took the motif and moved it in parallel fashion. Another option is to keep the motif in more or less the same place and alter the notes to fit the underlying chord progression, and then move the motif:
 

Here the motif is altered to accommodate the Eb7 chord using Eb myxolydian, and returns to the Bb myxolydian then Bb altered scale to create more resolution possibilities to the next Eb7.
